As a primary care physician in the state of Ohio, your chiropractor is licensed and trained to perform physicals needed to participate in sports. The exam is designed to identify any disorder that may effect a child’s ability to perform their sport. During the exam, the doctor will evaluate your height, weight, blood pressure, pulse, eye sight, abdomen, lungs, ears, nose, heart, muscles and nerves to ensure proper function and ensure that it is safe to participate in sports. Having your child complete a pre-participation physical is an essential step in preventing injury and ensuring your child’s safety while playing their sport.
